Funny how cultures differ in little things across the US. When we moved to Alabama when I was a tween, I was shocked to hear boys of 11 and 12 (and even older!) calling their fathers daddy.

In my world, that was a name for little kids to use. Or for girls.

“What are you, a little baby?” would probably have been the taunt I’d have received in Ohio if anyone heard me calling Dad, Daddy.

But in Alabama? The highschool quarterback would say it!

I love the caviar and casserole expression. I may have to use that! :-)
