Fuck the Catholic Church and the vile, evil, homophobic bigots who leverage its filthy doctrines to hurt me and the people I love.

I understand that many Catholic lay people disagree with the Catholic teachings that label me as a gay man “depraved” and ‘disordered,” but I cannot for the life of me understand how any decent human being can be complicit with an institution that so viciously morally condemns good and loving people.

Defend your Church all you want, but while it continues to oppress innocent members of gender and sexual minorities (with at least one senior cardinal arguing that gay men SHOULD be imprisoned) then I and many others will loudly condemn your Church as the nest of evil demons that it is.

I struggled in my youth against the viscous and inhumane actions of the Catholic Archdiocese of New York as they worked hard and spent fortunes to stop safer sex initiatives the City desperately needed to to fight against the suffering of HIV and AIDS.

I know up close and personal how evil Catholic leaders are.

So from one “depraved,” “disordered” gay man whom Catholic leaders publicly consider worthy of prison, let me tell you this: your Church is horrifying.
