For the most part, Protestant Christianity didn't have anything against abortion until the 1970s. Now they're fervant about it, and I bet most of now they're fervant about it, and most of them can't even really explain why. Outside of stupid arguments about "killing babies."

This is one of the extreme dangers of religion. Religious belief is based on nothing. Faith is objectively meaningless. So religious people just believe whatever they decide to believe, whatever the fashion is, whatever the latest superstitious nonsense is.

I can't believe we're a quarter into the 21st century, and these superstitious idiots are still using their delusions to run society.
