For some reason young gay men have really gotten her for a long time. Maybe I’m a little too old and stodgy to be a Taylor Swift fan, but all the gay men I know in their twenties have been mad about her for years — and not just because of her music.

I think maybe she just exudes a kind of acceptance of diversity that people recognize even without her speaking.

But I’m glad she is speaking now and I will check that Netflix documentary out. Thanks for writing about it!
