First, I think you know the queen is not the head of the Church of England except in the same symbolic sense that she is the head of the United Kingdom. You know as well as I do that Justin Welby is actually the head of the Church of England so I'm a little confused as to why you would make such a disingenuous statement.

The Church of England is not treating LGBTQ people like shameful stepchildren because the queen wants it that way. The Church of England retail gptq people like shit because Justin Welby and other Church of England leaders dictate those policies. Because they are homophobic pigs.

I don't know how you can separate your thoughts about evangelizing from the fact that your job in the Church of England is wrapped up in that.

When I hear the word evangelize, I think evil. I think exposing queer youth to theology and practices that hurt them. To me, evangelize is as much of a dirty word as missionary is a dirty word.

Missionaries over the century have worked to rape indigenous cultures, to wipe out non-Christian customs, traditions and beliefs.

There is very little separating missionaries, who most decent people rightfully detest, from people who call themselves evangelists, especially when those evangelists work for institutions that egregiously harm LGBTQ people and especially LGBTQ young people normalize attitudes that there's something wrong with LGBTQ people, so wrong that it isn't appropriate to even sit at the same table with them.

It seems to me that Christians have their work cut out for them burning the evil out of their institutions, casting out pigs like Welby and other vicious bishops like him, and learning how to act like decent human beings instead of disgusting pieces of shit.

Perhaps that ought to be a priority before trying to evangelize, before spreading more homophobic evil.
