Finding images can sometimes be harder for me than writing the story! I have a subscription to Adobe Stock now, which helps a lot. but I’m not paying the big bucks that I would need to pay to give me enough images for all of my stories every month.
One thing I’ve learned is that the paid services like Adobe have much better search engines.
So even if I don’t want to use a paid image for a story, I can search on Adobe or one of the other similar services, find some great images much more easily than with pexels or unsplash, and then see which keywords they are tagged with.
Then if I go back to one of the free services and use those keywords, I can often find what I’m looking for.
What is nice is that you don’t even have to have a subscription with one of the paid services to use their search function, so anybody could do this!
