Fascinating! It's a different publishing world today, for sure. It seems like most of the smaller, specialized presses have given way to self-publishing. That leaves writers in the position of having to either become good at layout and promotion or finding an expert like Chris to help.

I imagine consultants have set up shop to help guide authors through the self-publication process for fee, no I I'm not sure how one would go about vetting somebody like that.
