Excellent points, Rachel. One other bit of helpfulness that I could point out is that Medium gives us the ability to hide comments under our articles. When we do that, the comment will only be visible if somebody goes to the troll’s profile. The odds of that happening are pretty small.

Given that trolls thrive on attention, hiding their comments is a very effective way of having them get bored with your writing.

Let them move on to some other target, you know?
