Excellent points! Here's a story idea for anybody who wants to try to hunt the data down: somewhere in my lifetime of scholarship and study, LOL, I learned that Denmark is famous for early childhood sex education. Apparently, Danish children get detailed sex education before puberty. And that education includes teaching that gay and trans people are ordinary and healthy.

And you know what? I've spent quite a bit of time in Denmark, and I've never noticed trans and gay people are more common there than anywhere else.

Kind of makes you think, huh?

I bet digging into numbers and doing a story with real data would be very interesting.
