Excellent points! It might be instructive for some companies to remember that Pride ad campaigns can backfire. Companies that don’t score well with HRC but who have raised the rainbow flag in June anyway, have found themselves the subject of ill will rather than good will.

There are plenty of old-style activists (like me) just waiting to pounce and expose hypocrisy.

Why go through all that? I’m no fan of rainbow capitalism, but if you get those scores HRC scores up, then we all win.
