Excellent idea. You have to be very careful with these groups, though. They can seem quite friendly at first glance, but a deeper investigation reveals that while they accept the IDENTITY of gay and lesbian, they encourage abstinence and instill shame. As Ken Wilson points out this morning in his piece about surface-friendly churches, toxins are injected the most deeply by people who seem cool and friendly.
