I could add that we gay men often get a sex question that reflects some of these same issues:

“Which one of you is the woman in bed?”

Meaning, of course, which one of you is the object of the man’s pleasure? Who does the penetrating and who gets used?

Trying to explain that many gay men reject that kind of thinking is very difficult.
