Exactly. That seems like such a simple concept, but it's not one that many religious people are able to grasp, seemingly. I'm thinking about that religious congresswoman who literally broke down in tears on the House floor the other day because in her view gay people getting married, gay people who have no impact on her life, is just tragic and awful.

She wants the "freedom" to dictate her religious beliefs and practices to others, which ... I can't wrap my head around that.
