Every day in the news I read about accounts of brutal, racist cops mistreating Black people. It’s like the whole BLM summer didn’t even happen. Maybe some positive change has happened somewhere, but things are still very much the same as they were.

If anything, even more people should be kneeling during the anthem.

I look at those two white people standing beside her with her hands on her shoulder and I can only think, “What cowards you are.”
