Every major shift in energy technology has led to huge economic booms and massive amounts of economic opportunity for individual Americans. I wish we could hit this message harder. Rebuilding our energy infrastructure will be good for American pocketbooks, not bad.

The current fossil fuel economy is stagnant. There isn’t any room left for significant growth, even if it wasn’t bad for us. Just imagine all the good paying jobs that become available as we build for the future.

This should be the positive message about the Green New Deal. Biden casually mentioned that during the second presidential debate, but people who blinked missed it.

Let’s get excited about all the opportunity in front of us!
