Even many of us gay men are often guilty of this kind of thinking. Regardless of how we think about women, and even if that can often be in a very positive way, we still often end up objectifying gender and sex. We behave as if women must be a certain way and that men must ideally be some other way.

And by doing this, all of us, straight and gay, box women into straitjackets of expectation.
