Eunice, I live surrounded by the Amish. They are not educated. They go to school only until they’re 14, and they are barely literate in English. They learn no math more complex than arithmetic, no science at all, and not much of anything else. High school education is forbidden to them, so say nothing of university, which they wouldn’t qualify to attend without a high school diploma in any case.
