Eric, I have been writing for years that no ideas deserve to be elevated to a pedestal free form ordinary criticism. I’m dead serious about that. And I’m right about it too. I will not under any circumstances whatsoever be changing my mind about that.

Here’s one article I wrote:

Casting spells and casting out demons, which are the ignorantly superstitious practices we were discussing yesterday, are excellent examples of ideas that not only do not deserve respect, but deserve energetic, active disrespect.

Bad ideas must be fought, not respected.
