Enthusiasm begets enthusiasm. Yes! I'm not a professional teacher, but I spent a few years teaching office skills to adults for a couple hours every afternoon. That was my favorite part of my work day. I loved my job, but I loved the teaching part the most, and when my students walked into the classroom I greeted them with excitement and enthusiasm that inspired them, despite the fact that learning how to write a properly formatted business letter might not be the most inspirational subject in the world.
Of course, I guess it was a lot easier for me since I didn't have a full teaching load and didn't teach a subject students had a hard time wrapping their minds around.
But I definitely noticed that enthusiasm begat enthusiasm.
