Ducks in trees! I’d a never believed it!

Our village pond is once again filling up with mallards and canada geese returning from their southerly migrations. I woke this morning to loud honking as V after V winged overhead.

Our swan couple remains, tolerating the other waterfowl but driving off other swans. I’m sure we’ll see cygnets soon!
