I’ve watched you shuck, jive, and evade responsibility. I’ve watched you refuse to issue a sincere and unconditional apology.

Most importantly, I’ve watched you refuse to answer questions about taking meaningful, concrete action to root the homophobes out of your publication.

In a way, I’m thankful I’d never encountered your writing or even heard of you before last night. I’m glad that my first encounter revealed immediately what an evil demon you are. Clearly, a full apology and decisive action are not in the cards from you personally.

All that remains to be seen is what good and decent people like Chris Hedges and Linda Caroll will do about their association with you.
