Doesn't that just send chills down your spine? "Pastoral" to me invokes Pope Francis and the evil, homophobic teachings of his Church. Those twisted pigs label us as depraved and disordered while patting themselves on the back for being "pastoral" towards us. I know not all Christian churches are as homophobic and evil as the Roman Catholic Church, but "pastoral" still since chills up and down my spine.

I hear their message loud and clear: I'm defective and inherently immoral, but the Roman Catholic Church will "welcome" me as they try to "fix" me.

Fuck that!

That version of "pastoral" is so arrogant, authoritarian, and disgusting. Much of traditional Christianity is disgusting.
