Christian is not necessarily synonymous with hatred, though it often is, especially among Evangelicals and the Roman Catholic hierarchy. In fact, one of the co-editors of the publication you’re reading this article in is an LGBTQ Christian, who are not such rare birds and who fill leadership roles in many Christian organizations that fully affirm LGBTQ people.
