Despite all the events of last summer, we are STILL not getting serious about fundamentally reforming our policing system in the United States. Nor have we changed the language we’re using, and we must change it.

When I saw cops brutalize that 9-year-old girl on video by pepper spraying her directly in the face, I was so shocked and horrified that I felt literally sick to my stomach. I thought I might vomit.

We have to call this what it is, brutality.

Every police officer who was at that scene is a vicious pig. They are scum who believe is all right to brutalize children. an assistant commissioner in the department actually stood up in public and said that the brutality was “required.” That piece of subhuman scum still has his job.

Not one of the pigs on the scene lifted a finger to help that little girl after she had pepper sprayed directly into her eyes.

They are depraved. Each of them needs to be fired, and some of them need to spend time in jail or prison. We as citizens have to rise up and demand that evil cops like that these be treated like the pigs they are.

Until we do that, nothing is going to change. Until we insist that this vicious scum be excised from our law enforcement agencies, brutality is going to continue, and very particularly against Black people and other people of color.

I’ve known a lot of white police officers in my life, and I’ll tell you now that they have disproportionately been racist scum. I get to know that because I’m white, and they don’t guard their tongues around me as much as they should.

We must start acknowledging that and using accurate language like I’m using right now. We must have real fundamental change, and to do that we must TALK ABOUT how evil and disgusting many or most of our police officers are. They are pigs.
