Definitely good to know what’s going on in a broader sense. The UK just locked down again, by the way, and universities that were trying to do more in-person learning are now forced to go all remote once more.

Students are stressed, especially a friend of mine who is a high achiever and never satisfied with less than the highest marks. He’s taking things out on himself, even though he’s clearly not at fault and is working very hard.

I’ll try sharing some of this with him, though honestly I’m not sure how comforted he will be.
