Death by trans is tragic, and medical neglect of trans people is tragically ordinary.

Huge percentages of trans people report suffering from lack of medical care or refusal of care. Sometimes people think they mean doctors are refusing to provide them with transition-related services. That would be bad enough, but data indicate otherwise.

Huge proportions of trans people report great difficulty receiving routine medical care.

We need to do much better than this.
