Dealing with U.S. immigration authorities is super difficult. The system feels designed to keep as many people out of the country as possible, with close to zero Fs given about collateral damage to people like spouses who are entitled by law to immigrate.

So try not to take things personally. The process really is torturous. It's not just you, even if you have made a few mistakes.

Everybody makes mistakes.
