Dare to Discipline was a book comparable to the Bible itself when I was growing up in the Evangelical world.

Dobson was revered, as a prophet indeed.

I’m only thankful that my father, while seemingly devoted to Dobson’s teachings, was too kind and softhearted to implement them with any real precision.
