Cool story! It reminds me of the time our lesbian friend in Montreal offered to take our 14 y/o son Brent clothes shopping. I can’t remember why; with two gay dads he usually didn’t have any problem getting outfitted. We must have been busy that day or something.

Anyway, when I thanked her and told her how kind it was of her to offer, she waved me off and said, “Hell, we both shop in the boy’s department anyway. I need some things too.”

I guess she figured out the same thing you did!
