Cool! I stop into Tractor Supply for my bird food, because it's on the way to the grocery store I frequent. The last time I was there, they had a LOT of baby ducks and chicks under heating lamps in little pens with sawdust floors.

The chicks are there most of the time, but the ducklings only in season. The peeping noise they all make together is incredibly soothing.

Oh, and also, the last couple times I've driven into town, I've passed a particular farm where a couple dozen typical domestic ducks and some very cool looking heritage breeds were pecking about on the farmhouse lawn near the road.

I always slow down and have a nice gander, no pun intended.

If it's not one thing, it's another, isn't it?

I'm sorry you're struggling with pain, but it's encouraging to hear that you're back on the road to being able to eat better!
