Compromise about bigotry? That’s absurd.

Homophobic bigotry is as wrong as racist bigotry. It’s as immoral. It’s as evil.

The baker is a bigot trying to use his religion to justify discriminating against LGBTQ people. He’s exactly morally equivalent to a member of the KKK, and ought to be exactly as responsible for obeying public accommodation laws.

There aren’t two sides to this story.

There are people who oppose bigotry and discrimination against LGBTQ people on one side and there are bigots on the other.

If this asshole was demanding the right to refuse to serve black people on religious grounds, he’d be rightly laughed out of court.

You’re suggesting we LGBTQ people accept bigotry.

Your argument is revolting and disgusting.

Religion is no excuse for homophobia, just as it’s no excuse for racism.

You need to cultivate a sense of personal morality and stop arguing in favor of “compromise” that enables bigotry. Shame on you.
