Certainly not all Christians religiously abuse and stigmatize LGBTQ people. An overwhelming majority of Christian organizations stigmatize and abuse LGBTQ people, and a somewhat smaller majority of individual Christian people likewise abuse us. I do understand that a tiny minority of Christian organizations affirm LGBTQ people. Which is why I was very careful not to say “all,” which is something the Facebook commenter my story is about also did not say.
