Marlene knew he’d be there, but she was even happier to see him than she thought she’d be.
“Caleb! Hey, it’s me!”
She walks in the door with Amanda and sees Caleb sitting on the hospital bed with another kid about their age. The guys are kinda holding hands, but they pull apart when Marlene looks. Caleb’s eyes are all swollen up.
