By coincidence, we're publishing another piece today by Logan Silkwood about sharing truth one person at a time. Logan did that as a political canvasser, for pay — and out of economic necessity as a trans person who had fled a Republican state (and a well-paying job) because of oppressive laws making life difficult for him and his partner.

His fear is palpable, direct, and personal.

But all of us queer people know that fear. We've all experienced the public backlash since 2016. I think we're all aware that things could get ugly bad after the upcoming election.

Your point about the importance of sharing fear with genuine vulnerability is critical in my opinion.
