I’m demanding to walk into a shop and be served like any other fully human, fully moral person.

That’s not special.

It’s nothing like special.

I’m absolutely demanding that people not discriminate against me. I’m absolutely fighting for it too.

That’s not special either.

We queer people absolutely demand an end to discrimination just the way black people and Jews in the United States successfully demanded an end to discrimination.

Sure, foul organizations and morally obnoxious people like you fought like hell to enable the continuation of that discrimination.

They lost.

Just like you and other evil people like you are going to lose this one.

Special rights, my ass.

You don’t get to discriminate against me because I’m queer, just like you don’t get to discriminate against me because I have colored skin or happen to be disabled.

That’s written into civil rights law, and that’s what you’re arguing to overturn.

So let’s make no mistake about who’s on the side of the angels here.
