Bravo! What a fitting conclusion to a wild ride of a life story. The moment I read the first words of your prologue, taken from that notebook you mention here, I knew beyond any doubt that you are an artist.

Over the many months that you have serialized your tale, you've moved me to grief, joy, and everything in between.

I guess on some level, my interest is pragmatic. I don't have to tell you that meth addiction haunts a small but predictable percentage of gay men. It's a struggle our community is burdened with — probably for complex reasons I have a little understanding of.

But I've known a couple people who fell down that rabbit hole, and neither one of them ever found their way out again.

So, your memoir touches me in the respect that you made it. You survived. You even triumphed.

More than that, you managed to bring all of that to life, to make it pop off the page. To bring all of us along on your journey.

For that, I am forever grateful and just a little bit in awe.

Thank you!
