Birds of feather flock together? Maybe Kathleen Stock should think about that.

Italy is attacking lesbian parents. Italy doesn't want same-sex couples raising children. The reason is not mysterious.

The Catholic Church in Italy, like all over the world, despises queer people. They can't stand the idea that homosexuality is becoming normalized, and they are doing everything they can to shove us back in our place.

Catholic theology about gay people is vicious and horrifying. They call us depraved and disordered. From Pope Francis on down, the Catholic hierarchy uses that kind of disgusting theology to insist that gay couples not be allowed to adopt children.

Political leaders in Italy are responding, appealing to crass homophobia among the public.

Maybe Kathleen Stock should think about how her transphobic friends and
allies support that same barbaric religious cruelty.

Stock has placed herself in the intellectual vanguard of a group of people who despise queerness in all its aspects.

They'll turn on her as fast as they can the moment they can.

For some reason she's obsessed about trans people. She consistently depicts transgender women as violent and dangerous, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Students at the University of Sussex objected to Stock because they recognize how cruel and deceitful she is. I wonder if she'll ever recognize how cruel and deceitful her friends are.

I doubt it. She'll likely keep up with her sophistry, coming up with slippery arguments (perhaps intended primarily as a balm to her own conscience) as to why her deceitful cruelty is acceptable.

But the rest of us should keep pointing out her lies and moral depravity as we note that birds of a feather indeed flock together.
