Besides your excellent points, James, should we not also keep in mind that the so-called Twitter Mob the signers appear to be upset with are in reality hundreds of thousands or millions of individual people exercising their own speech rights?

These Twitter users don’t have the privilege of publishing in a prestigious magazine that will broadcast their voices around the world, but does that lack of privilege make them any less deserving of speaking their mind?

One wonders what makes the Twitter users a mob undeserving of free expression.
