Besides the excellent examples you raise, I’m thinking about a few notorious cases in which very young children at school have been handcuffed and/or roughed up by police.

I have to wonder why it’s necessary to have police in schools at all. With high schools, I can understand the arguments, though I still mostly disagree about the need.

But elementary schools?

Handcuffing 1st graders?

Again, I think, asking police to do things that aren’t trained for or experienced with.
