Ben Ames, the problem seems to exist across various mobile platforms. My friend Fred Shirley’s phone updates haven’t made his claps for my stories any more (or less) reliable, for example.

And of all the writers I know who experience the problem very frequently, their mobile devices run the gamut. Gloria Bates and Zayn Singh don’t even try clapping from mobile. Terijo experiences the problem intermittently all the time.

Of course, I haven’t been able to explain this to anyone at Medium, on the Medium Staff or even to the support people at Your Friends @ Medium , because nobody will communicate with me or anyone else (like Eric Griggs and Clay Rivers) who have tried to raise the issue with them.

They simply refuse to even acknowledge that this mission-critical problem is happening. Our observations and month-long efforts to get Medium to help us have been met with black-hole silence.

It’s beyond frustrating. I can’t understand why they refuse to talk to the people who are providing them their content, and mostly for free.
