I know one young English lad (eh, Fred Shirley) who’s quite passionate about cricket and who would have been quite pleased to know a gay cricketer was playing in his club. I think he would have benefited enormously to be able to be around another gay person.

And for the straight boys? Well, nothing like shattering a few stereotypes, eh?
