Because the same sort of knuckleheads in the straight world who think sending dick pics is cool exist in the gay world too. Some rando gay kucklehead sees me posting on Twitter or FB or whatever, or who reads my stories a lot, says to himself, "This man must really really really want a photo of my engorged johnson, even though he doesn't know me from Adam. Let me send it to him now instead of a nice greeting or an animated gif of puppies."

Why? Who can parse the whys and wherefores of knuckleheads? lol
