Back between about 10 and 15 years ago, I used to frequently take long road trips for both business and pleasure. Sometimes I’d drive straight for 2 or 3 days.

I used to get audiobooks at Cracker Barrel. They had a deal going that as long as you return them on time at any of their restaurants, they cost just about nothing.

That was a good deal for them I suppose because it ensured that I almost always stopped to eat there. I listened to so many books on the road that way. Everything from fluffy beach read fiction to serious history.

I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I love audio books! Better than spinning the radio dial.
