As a useful aside, you can now use Google to search for images with Creative Commons licenses. In the image results page on Google, select tools, licensing, then Creative Commons.

On a picayune note, most Creative Commons licenses explicitly require a link to the license in the image credit. So, I always do that. Not sure how much it really matters, but it doesn’t cost me anything.
