As a gay person condemned routinely by Christians for being a sinner because I'm gay, this slightly different Greek translation is cold comfort.

It's still condemnatory.

And I still hold Christians who view me as a sinner because I'm gay in the highest possible personal disrespect and contempt.

Anybody who thinks I've missed a goal because I was born gay can kiss my hairy gay ass.

I know that lots of progressive Christians exist, but I know most Christians are not progressive, and that most Christians are simply arrogant, judgmental, hateful people.

I'm so sick and tired of being called a sinner, of being judged as having fallen short.

I'm so sick and tired (not speaking if you personally) of Christians and their exclusionary teachings.
