As a former Iowan who has participated in caucuses, I think they are wonderful.

I don’t know why people seem to be forgetting the caucus returns have always been delayed compared to primary returns.

I think the only big losers Monday night were the major media corporations who expected to make big money getting people to tune in to minute by minute reporting.

The caucus results are reliable backed by paper trail, and I for one don’t see the disaster in not having instant results for a process that was never meant to be instantaneous.
