As a fairly traditionally appearing and behaving man, I often experience straight privilege even though I’m a gay man. I have to be conscious and deliberate about living out and not soaking in a privilege bath, which could make me numb to the realities of queer oppression.

I see far too many gay men who succumb to that temptation.
