As a cisgender gay person, I wholeheartedly endorse your message. The LDS church treats gay people like absolute shit. LDS church leaders are foul homophobic monsters.

Witness the "musket speech" that Mormon leaders Jeffrey Holland delivered at BYU in 2021, in which he savaged the reputation of a BYU graduate who came out as gay in his valedictory speech, with the approval of his BYU faculty advisors.

But Holland didn't just personally savage that graduate, he used violent metaphor after violent metaphor to savage gay people in the church in general.

Clearly, Holland is a depraved, disgusting piece of shit, weaponizing religion and even using it to call for violence, although I'm sure he would object to that characterization. He would probably say he didn't mean for people to be actually physically violent.

But violence is what he called for.

And some of my ex-Mormon friends report that that his morally depraved speech caused evident hardening in Mormon hatred of gay people.

So, when I saw this vicious document about how the LDS Church is savaging transgender people too, I wasn't the least bit surprised.

Mormon leaders are sickening, evil people who think nothing of treating members of minority like absolute shit.

It's beyond me how anybody could give their money to such a horrifying institution, but it's especially beyond me to see any queer person willingly associating with their evil and depravity.

(And don't think LDS leaders have distanced themselves from Holland's sickening speech. Starting this year, they’re requiring incoming BYU freshman to read his violence-inciting horror.)
