"Anyone who says Ariel can’t be Black because Black redheads don’t exist needs to spend five minutes on Google to educate themselves."

Or, and here's a thought, spend time with Black people. When I saw your title, my first thought was, "Well, obviously."

Maybe that's because I've lived in majority-Black neighborhoods and sometimes worked in organizations with lots of Black employees or clients.

Somebody claiming that Black people can't be redheads is apparently not spending much time with Black people.

And given that the people complaining about The Little Mermaid are taking exception to a Black actress, I'm not exactly astonished that they don't hang out with Black folks.

Of course they don't. Otherwise, it's highly unlikely they would be complaining.
