Animal behavior specialists say they know beyond doubt you are wrong - many animals do suffer as we do, are self aware, and absolutely have episodic memory.
And again, extreme suffering is built into the system. It's a feature, not a bug. You can call that love if you want, but when you do, you fulfill Orwell's observation that people will often twist the meanings of words to suit ideology - even when neutral observers can see how absurd the re-definitions are.
An all-powerful God could build a system that ameliorates suffering. An all-loving God would build a system that ameliorates suffering.
Since we can see that is not how the universe functions, we know the concept of an all-loving, all-powerful God is flawed.
Nothing illustrates that more clearly than the intractable problem of animal suffering.
